Hi everyone! First post in this sub. This is my girly Zora! She’s about 11 years old and I’m having a tough time accepting her age. She’s definitely slowed down but she’s still her spunky, sassy self! A couple years ago she could no longer jump on her little perch. That was honestly the first time she really began showing her age. But lately she’s having trouble standing up. I got home from work yesterday and she was laying in her hay and couldn’t get her back feet under her to get up. It absolutely gutted me because I don’t know how long she was like that and the idea of her laying like that all day makes me emotional. I guess I’m just having a hard time accepting that she’s nearing the end! Does anyone have any advice about how they knew it was time?
