Back in 1973 I was 9 years old and got the 560 Police Heliport for Christmas. My brother got the 570 Fire Station... we spent hours playing with these. They were given away to one of my younger cousins as I got older... I got my son a couple of sets in the 90's, he was more into video games I guess. I do remember him building the Giant Truck 5571 with my dad in the 90's. Fast forward to 2020, I became ill and wanted something to do at home so I bought the Jeep Wrangler 42122. Then the Saturn V. Then the Lighthouse. 150 plus sets later I can't wait to see what next month's releases will be. I recently purchased the Heliport and Fire Station on Ebay for warm and fuzzy memories. My son is now into Lego as well collecting Star Wars and Super Mario. Good times... Thank you Lego!!
