Appreciation for my Louis Vuitton Neverfull

I’ve owned my Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in the classic monogram since 2018. It’s a bag that receives a lot of criticism online—often labeled as “basic” or not particularly stylish.

Yet, in my own collection, this is by far my most loved bag, purely because of how exceptionally well it has performed over the past eight years.

I have carried this bag almost daily to work, fitting my laptop, planner, makeup bag, and all sorts of everyday essentials. Over the years, it has also been my go-to travel bag on multiple trips thanks to its capacity. I’ve taken it to the gym, grocery shopping, and even to the beach—and it still looks amazing.

The canvas looks exactly as it did the day I bought it. The leather straps have developed a natural patina over time, but they remain in excellent condition, with no loose threads or structural issues whatsoever.

For me, this is the true definition of luxury: durability, high quality, and flawless performance under constant, real-life use.

On top of that, the bag works effortlessly with all of my outfits. It doesn’t feel overly flashy and is perfect for everyday wear.

I paid 950€ including taxes back in 2018, and considering that I’ve used it almost every day for eight years, I can confidently say it has been worth every euro. Even at today’s price of around €1,500, I would absolutely repurchase it if anything ever happened to my well-loved Neverfull.
