Currently have a GS SBGN003 which I love.

Looking to add another watch to the collection and have been on the waitlist for an Explorer 36 for a few months.

Went into AD to get a Cartier Tank for my wife and tried on a Medium Santos and really liked it...

I've been getting a bit annoyed/disillusioned with the whole Rolex AD game. Groveling to celebrate a milestone seems... wrong.

Now I can't decide between the two and if I should bail on the Explorer.

I really like the Explorer but now am thinking it might be too similar to my GS. The Cartier is awesome, but worry it is too dressy being that I have worn a suit maybe once in the past 3 years and pretty much always wear jeans and a t-shirt.

It doesn't really feel like there is a wrong answer here, but wondering if anybody else had to make a similar choice and has anything I could potentially learn from.
