Cross-platform licensing: Why do we pay twice for the same game?
| Please, before anyone jumps me, keep in mind this is just my opinion. Minecraft Bedrock in Google play store should not be 8€, it SHOULD be free to those who has already bought Minecraft in their Microsoft account. My parents have bought me Minecraft for Christmas, the Java and Bedrock edition only, and I play always on PC, but there are some times that I wanted to play Minecraft on my tablet but couldn't, as I have to pay 8€ to install Minecraft Bedrock in my tablet, even though I already have it owned in my Microsoft account. For Microsoft users that already have it bought, it should be free, but for those who don't, they should pay the 8€. Maybe they can add, after installing and opening the app, two options: either buy Minecraft bedrock for 8€ or sign in on your Microsoft account with Minecraft bought. Tell me your thoughts on this, and sorry if my grammar is bad, try to correct me. [link] [comments] |
