Fun piece, playing with different techniques to convey steam.

soft cut relief print. hat is more blue not backlit

I made a new print today

I’ve been working on it every day for at least 30 minutes after getting off work to switch my brain into creative mode. I want to live a life as a creator not a consumer, and I found myself mindlessly scrolling or watching a million episodes of Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares after work. I’ve been playing with abstraction and building layered backgrounds. I use mixed media mostly, but watercolor is my base. I include gouache, oil pastels, graphite, marker and gell pen as well.
