Red tank top decorated with blood cells I lino printed!

I’ve been making my own garlands and leaving the ends untied doesn’t secure the decorative elements. Does anyone have any techniques or knotting they use for the ends of the cord/thread/rope that makes it more secure, easier to hang, and feels finished?

I made a dozen little conversation hearts out of felt and ribbons. I used a heart shaped cookie cutter for the overall shape and I used cookie stencils and acrylic paint markers for the lettering. It took about two hours to make each one (minus drying time for the lettering)

I recently ordered a bit of stuff and I’ve decided on making a shelf out of the boxes. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to make this item? As well as tips to create something sturdy? The idea is to create a religious altar out of it so it doesn’t need to hold heavy stuff if just like to be safe

I was thinking a flat surface of masking tape , then paper Maché and then popsicle on top for both aesthetics and support.
