I was curious how CO₂ builds up overnight when sleeping inside a closed van.

Did you sometimes wake up feeling slightly groggy or with a mild headache?

Do you crack windows? Run roof fans all night?

Has anyone else actually measured CO2 PPM overnight levels?

Woke up to this agfter a nap. Parked van and went to back. Never setting foot outside van.

Ingredients (makes 5 waffles):

• 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour

• 1 tbsp sugar

• 1½ tsp baking powder

• ¼ tsp salt

• 1 large egg

• 7/8 cup (210 ml) milk (just under 1 cup)

• ¼ cup (57 g) unsalted butter, melted

• ½ tsp vanilla extract

Cook until golden, but still soft — not crispy.

Who says grilling is just a summer activity? Let's go!

I’ve been barbecuing for a few years on and off, mostly on than off for the last year. It took me this long to do some wings on the grill. Not really sure why, but they turned out great.

I’m currently in the Caribbean on vacation at my family home where I love to BBQ the most.

I bought the lump charcoal directly from a guy in my village who has been doing it for years. I made my own wood chips using guava wood which I got from a guava tree in my backyard.

I was cleaning out my trunk and I found my old ferro rod, which I got 20 years ago with a cheap compass.

I've only used it once to start a fire; I am such a poor outdoorsman I depend on lighters to get my fires started, which I usually have at least 2 in the car.

So I tried sparking it with attached striker, and even after 200 tries, I might have gotten a small spark once out of twenty attempts.

It was dry and I rotated the rod so I struck every surface at least 10 times.

I must have spent $20 total on my survival kit (who knows where I put the compass), so is this normal for ferro rods to fail to spark? Is there something I can do to resurrect it to full firestarting status? Or just toss it?

Just some thighs with a dry rub over some charcoal
