Just wanted to share my piece of Crystal Lake.

I love living in an apartment that makes me want to come home everyday

Can anyone help me identify what is happening with my plants? Can anyone help me with why my leaves are browning?

My parameters for my tank are all in a very good spot. Ammonia 0, Nitrates and Nitrites in a good spot, PH 7.2 currently. Temp at a consistent 78 degrees F . I know it doesn’t need to be said, but I don’t run C02 into the tank. Just dosing fertilizers.

I’ve been trying to get into live plants more in the last year and I’m really enjoying watching them grow. I’ve upgraded to a Fluval 3.0 light, running in 2 seperate durations for 7-8hr total. All the light settings are in the last picture.

I use the recommended dose of Seachem Flourish on Sundays only.

I used recommended dose of Flourish Excel once every other day, sometimes every 3 days.

I’ve been using root tabs under all plants with a new one every month. I replace every 2 weeks for the two big plants I have.

Setup is around 3-4 years old. Been going for more live plants in the last year.

I know that big plants on the driftwood should be in the substrate, but I didn’t know at first and its roots have made their way throught the driftwood now and I’m afraid it’ll kill it to pull them out.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Small apt but cozy, all I need.

With a sunny day/rainy day, night

Finally, we got our last vegetable harvest of this season. Sukuma wick and spinach have been the last vegetables standing until now. A moment of happiness came as we shared them among vulnerable individuals which will soon create a very great meal on their table. With gardening, dreams become realities if thoughts become actions. I wish you all a happy gardening

I am in Southern Africa and this grew wild in my garden. I believe it to be wild cucumber/ Coccinia mackenii, or bospampoentjie in afrikaans. It’s supposed to be edible, this one was apparently not quite ripe as they are supposed to turn orange, but it was very bitter. I’d never seen a cucumber with bright red flesh like that, for a moment I thought I had cut into my own finger when I saw the red on my knife.

Thought some garden nerds here might appreciate my find :) there are so many cool plants here

In Portland, OR. First year starting a community garden. On a whim I planted some saffron bulbs about a month ago.

Today I got treats!

They must be happy to have bloomed so fast!

I think I'll keep that one????

Crypt and lotus curtain growing nicely up the back, can’t wait to see how this turns out

Found this little one hiding in my filter, i would assume it’s a basic leech but i would like a second opinion.

Is there a risk multiple will suddenly start to show up? If so how would i treat it

My goldfish already has this for a long time. Im only just asking this now. Doesnt seem to bother him or anything

The color variation of Oaxacan Green corn is so cool! The iridescence shimmers in such a beautiful way. Fun to grow too since they easily hit 12+ feet. Had four rows in a 4 foot x 90 foot plot. Highly recommend!
